Shipping & Directions

Strips, gunwales, and long materials require special packaging. If you do not yet have a strongback, our wooden shipping crate can be converted into one. Otherwise, we will package the strips in cardboard. We have found this to provide plenty of protection.

Long packages must ship by common carrier truck. Common carrier rates depend on length, weight and distance. Please call or e-mail us for an estimate. Most kits can be shipped within a couple of weeks.

Smaller packages (up to 8') are shipped by UPS Ground. We need an accurate street address for the quickest shipment. Books, small tools, and other light items (up to 5 lbs.) can be shipped via US Mail or UPS.

Please Note: All epoxy and varnish supplies must be shipped through UPS. For an accurate shipping estimate, please select UPS on the shipping screen.

You can also pick up your order at our shop. Please call ahead so we can have your order ready when you get here.

International Shipping: All orders placed from an address outside of the United States will be shipped via USPS International. For further information or an estimate on the price to ship to your location please contact us at 1-603-744-6872, or info@newfound.com.

Stop By Our Shop: We generally have several boats in various stages of construction at our shop. Seeing a boat being built is probably the best way to get a feel for how they go together. You are welcome to stop in for a visit, but please call ahead to make sure we are available. We are open most weekdays from 8 AM till 5 PM, most Saturdays.

Directions: Take exit 23 off route I93, turn west on route 104 toward Bristol; about 5 miles on your right will be Danforth Brook Road (just before La Valley Lumber Co. on the left). Turn onto Danforth Brook Road, go a couple hundred yards and you will see the big red cow barn on your left...that's us. We are 40 minutes north of Concord, NH and 2 hours from Boston, MA.
